Week 5: Day 29

The prototype robot is almost finished. Jeremiah worked on the frame to make it stronger. Dakotah worked on the driving mechanism. Anna put the shooter on the prototype robot. We have a chain on the thing that picks up the basketballs now too.

Week 5: Day 27

The main bot has made a good bit of progress today. Ryan installed the wheels, and Jessica and Hannah put in the ball vacuum chain and installed the ball roller cylinders. The driver station has had more work done as well: Shawn put in a third control stick thingy. The Andrews have made good progress programming up more programs for this year's robot. That is all for today.

Week 5: Day 25

We are getting close to the deadline now for a finished robot. The countdown to ship date has all of us a little tense, as we try to put together a full working robot to ship, rather the prototype we have that is almost finished.

As far as today goes there was at least some progress made. A few people worked on the prototype model and some worked with the actual robot. We have most of the playing field built now. Today we took it all outside to see how it all fit together and to make sure that it would work. Hopefully we will have a running prototype soon and an actual robot too!

Attendance was low today but things still got done. :)
